Maccarrone Les Tres Musicien 110 Count Wood Marquetry Humidor

Maccarrone Les Tres Musicien 110 Count Wood Marquetry Humidor

Les Tres Musicien brings three musicians to the lid of a Maccarrone Masterpiece humidor, composed entirely in dyed and precious wood veneers inlaid by hand. Beneath the lacquer, a Spanish cedar interior holds about 110. It is a piece for a music room, a home office with a record collection or a friend who plays, and it carries the full craft of the Tuscan house.

• Material: Dyed and precious wood veneers in hand-inlaid marquetry, high-gloss hand-polished lacquer, Spanish cedar (cedrella odorosa) lining
• Capacity: About 110, depending on size and arrangement
• Mechanism: Passive humidifier and hygrometer
• Collection: Maccarrone Masterpiece Collection
• Country of Origin: Italy, Tuscan workshop

Details: Each figure is laser-cut, then assembled veneer by veneer by hand over months, before the surface is lacquered and polished by hand. Inside, a passive humidifier and a hygrometer keep the cedar-lined interior balanced. Air conditioning dries Gulf homes through the year, so keep the lid closed, read the hygrometer weekly and refill as needed. A soft, dry cloth keeps the lacquer clear; avoid placing it in direct sun.
