Whisky is a warm amber leather, and set against black it gives the Havana Traveler the look of an old members' club. Brizard & Co. builds it by hand in top-grain leather with a cedar-lined case that holds five, a 6 oz flask and pouches for a lighter and a cutter. It is the travel case we would pack for a business trip that ends with a long dinner, and a dependable gift for a colleague or partner.

Details: Open it and the suede-lined interior shows the case and the lighter and cutter pouches, each held by a magnet and removable on its own. The flask sits in a snug leather pocket that also fits a phone, a wallet or eyewear when the flask stays home. Whisky and black work with a suit as easily as with weekend clothes. Wipe the leather with a soft cloth and condition it once or twice a year. The smooth leather takes initials well; we engrave in Dubai.
