Maccarrone Amalfi 75 Count Wood Marquetry Humidor
The Amalfi brings the colour and light of the Italian coast into the Maccarrone Yacht Collection. Hand-selected wood carries inlaid marquetry across the lid, and a Spanish cedar interior holds about 75. It is a desktop humidor with a summer holiday in its lines, well suited to a home office in Dubai and to a gift for someone who returns to the Mediterranean every year.
- Material: Hand-selected wood with hand-inlaid marquetry, high-gloss hand-polished lacquer, Spanish cedar (cedrella odorosa) lining
- Capacity: About 75, depending on size and arrangement
- Mechanism: Passive humidifier and hygrometer
- Collection: Maccarrone Yacht Collection
- Country of Origin: Italy, Tuscan workshop
Details: Every Yacht Collection piece is made in the Maccarrone workshop over several weeks: the graphics are laser-cut, each veneer is assembled by hand and the surface is polished by hand. A passive humidifier and a hygrometer let you read and hold conditions inside the cedar lining. Keep it on a desk or sideboard away from vents, check the reading weekly in air-conditioned rooms, and dust the lacquer with a soft, dry cloth.
