Maccarrone Phoenix 110 Count Wood Marquetry Humidor

Maccarrone Phoenix 110 Count Wood Marquetry Humidor

The phoenix, the bird that rises renewed, spreads its wings across this humidor from the Maccarrone Masterpiece Collection. Dyed and precious wood veneers are cut and inlaid by hand into the design, over a Spanish cedar interior for about 110. It reads as a work of art first, which makes it a meaningful gift for a new venture, a recovery or a fresh chapter.

• Material: Dyed and precious wood veneers in hand-inlaid marquetry, high-gloss hand-polished lacquer, Spanish cedar (cedrella odorosa) lining
• Capacity: About 110, depending on size and arrangement
• Mechanism: Passive humidifier and hygrometer
• Collection: Maccarrone Masterpiece Collection
• Country of Origin: Italy, Tuscan workshop

Details: Each element of the design is laser-cut and laid by hand, a process that takes the Tuscan workshop months before the lacquer is polished to a mirror finish. A passive humidifier and a hygrometer work inside the Spanish cedar lining, and the medium interior holds a personal rotation comfortably. In dry, air-conditioned rooms, check the reading each week and keep the humidifier topped up. Keep the dyed veneers out of direct sun so the colours stay vivid.
