Quality Importers Triangular Dark Burl Wood Tray with Gold Insert
Burl wood grows from the knotted base of a tree, and its swirling figure is prized by cabinetmakers because no two pieces are alike. This Quality Importers tray turns it into a triangular desk piece in a high gloss dark finish, with a gold brass insert and three rests. Low and compact, it belongs on a walnut desk or a library table, and suits a refined gift.
- Material: High gloss dark burl wood, brass insert
- Dimensions: 6 13/16 in long x 1 5/16 in high
- Capacity: Three rests
- Design: Triangular
Details: The high gloss lacquer deepens the burl's figure, so the grain seems to move as you walk past. The brass insert lifts out for easy cleaning, keeping the wood itself untouched, and its gold tone picks up the warmth of the dark timber. At just over an inch high, the tray sits discreetly on a desk without crowding papers or a laptop. Dust the wood with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sun to protect the lacquer. A natural gift for a chairman or a collector.
